Welcome to a space that will journey into the realm of thought-provoking design giving visual taste to your projects vision and messaging. Hey, I am not going to beat around the bush and pretend I am apart of a big design team by saying we and us, it's just me (a true freelancer), and that's all you, a small business, needs if you would like sharp focused design and responsive personal service.
I am a well seasoned graphic designer that has touched on all things design over my 20 years of graphic design service in Calgary. I weave my experience into every design project to drive my client’s success. I have honed my craft into a process that can slice through what is unneeded, making your project sing and help your project get noticed. You deserve that! My aim is to get a 5 star Google review out of you, which in return will help your business look professional. And to get that you need to be beyond happy with results and this is how my clients have rated me. And if it's not right for them it's not right for me.
Good design is not easy to attain, because it is not just about practiced design skill, it is about the intrinsic ability to see into someone's vision or idea, and make it blossom into something special, something people will be proud to show, intensifying interest and/or understanding the message.
Please look through my portfolio of work and see the power of design. You will get a feel for my style and expertise to see if I fit your next design project.

How much do graphic design projects cost?
The costs of projects vary greatly and are difficult to give out prices a la carte. Some designers are inexperienced will not charge very much, and some are apart of an online design emporium like Fiverr and Upwork, but these a generally on the cheaper side of quality in results and service. I have had a number of clients start out there and had a terrible experience and ultimately get what they needed in the first place with me. You truly do get what you pay for.
What is the design, or creative process like?
The graphic design process is much more than just throwing words and pictures on a page or “just” slapping a logo together and hoping it works. All graphic design projects are intricate and involve multiple steps. Here is my general outline of the process, but these steps will vary on the project and the clients needs.
Step 1. After the client and I agree that I am a fit for the project, we go over the scope and timelines of the clients needs and vision for their project. This is called the brief.
Step 2. Then next part of the graphic design process doesn’t actually involve any designing at all. At this stage I embark on market research. This builds the foundation for the of the design, based on the idea that form follows function. Researching the market and the target for the design, is the most important step, as this will dictate the projects roadmap, and ultimately its success.
Step 3. Next, I jump into creating a moodboard, sketches and/or a storyboard. The client and I meet to discuss them to make sure we are on the same page and possibly brainstorm from these visual outlines to help conceptualize for the next steps.
Step 4. Once the client is happy with the direction for the great ideas come to life, it's time for the concepts will start to take shape on the screen.
Step 5. With a handful of great concepts ready to present, we meet to discuss them- usually the client prefers a few. Now it's time to go back to work refining the concept based on the feedback.
Step 6. At this point, the concept becomes the final design and refinements are usually minor. The client is really liking the design at this point and is ready to sign off making it their official final design. It is ready to go out into the world and do its thing, help get you noticed faster!
